La presse à Shorecrest
Voici un extrait d’un article paru dans le journal électronique de Shorecrest.
Mr. Beaton, Mme.Carnes, and eighteen Shorecrest students from all four Upper Division grades spent Spring Break immersing themselves in the language and lifestyle of France. For ten days, we lived in French households, the guests of students and teachers who spent time here in either 2003 or 2004. During the homestay portion of the trip, we spent time with our French hosts, socializing in groups, and visiting various sites in the general vicinity of Chalons-en Champagne. During the week, we attended classes at Lycée Pierre Bayen and also took day trips to Reims and Strasbourg. Both of these cities are known for the distinctive, beautiful Gothic cathedrals; and both have played significant roles in France's long history. On Friday, March 25, we were welcomed as a group by the Mayor of Chalons at a reception held at the 18th century City Hall. We spent the last few days in Paris…... We got back to Tampa Airport late Thursday evening, tired and glad to be home, but full of memories of two wonderful weeks in France.
